He's Got That Good Good: Rog Walker

Hello everyone! I’m sorry about my brief absence; I’ve been so busy this past week. Because of this, I have decided to bring you a new ‘He’s Got That Good Good’ post a day early :) Today’s feature is a very, very gifted young man. He is actually one of the amazing photographers I featured in A Look Through My Lens, Part 2. If you are familiar with Street Etiquette and The Madbury Club, you have most likely already seen some of his photography because he has done extensive work with both of those websites. I really enjoyed interviewing Rog and he was actually the first phone interview I have done so far (I usually interview people via e-mail and/or facebook chat and messaging). He is such a funny and kind person and I really enjoyed speaking with him and I look forward to conducting even more phone interviews in the near future! Without any further ado I present to you..

Rog Walker from West Chester/Harlem, NY

What do you do?
I’m an artistic director and photographer

What 3 words would you use to describe your style?
Unscripted, defined, signature

Where are your favorite places to shop?
When it comes to my favorite places to shop it’s wherever is closest. I don’t put much thought into my fashion really.

What is the one article of clothing you could not live without?
There are 3 that I can’t live without actually: my blazer, my hat, and my glasses. If I had to choose one though, I could not do without my glasses. Or my hat. I can’t choose one!

Rog is a perfect example of someone with effortless style. His look is simple yet very refined which is a combination that most people have trouble executing. One doesn’t need to pile on loads of clothing and accessories in order to achieve a great look, often times less is more. Thank you so much Rog, you’ve got that good good! (And those yellow glasses he is rocking in that second photo are giving me life!)

Make sure you check out his main website (here) and also take a gander at his gorgeous photo spread entitled Identities (here) & his fantastic tumblr page (here)!
