That GOOD GOOD Around the Web

My latest blog find:

This is quickly becoming my favorite street style blog; I didn’t realize how excellent the style is in Cape Town, South Africa. What I love the most about Cinder&Skylark is that the individuals captured are wearing regular everyday clothes, not necessarily high-end designer threads. I don’t know about you all but, unfortunately, my bank account is not at the Proenza Schouler, Gucci, and Alexander McQueen level. Because of this, I really love fashion that is relatable and I can definitely see myself wearing a lot of what I see on this site. It is all very eclectic and that is definitely one of the words I would use to describe my personal style. Here are a few of my favorite outfits..

Listen to this:

If you like Frank Ocean, I think you will like The Weeknd as well. They both have that cool, relaxing, electric R&B sound. My top 3 favorite tracks are Coming DownHigh For ThisThe Morning.

New(ish) videos:

The ever so cool MeLo-X has a new video out for his song More Merch. This song is so smooth and poetic, I love his flow. He’s got that good good, ya’ll!

This is one of my favorite songs off of Moruf’s mixtape, Garden State of Mind: Ready To Live, so I was more than happy to see that he made a video for it. This song samples from one of my favorite Slum Village tunes called Untitled (Fantastic). If you didn’t get a chance to read the interview I did with Moruf, click (here).

One of my readers, Dondre Green, asked me to sponsor his mixtape called Growing Pains. Since I love seeing people my age embracing their talents and working hard at cultivating their craft, I happily obliged. I see a lot of potential in Dondre; his lyrics are very conscious and the beats that he used on this tape are excellent. Click (here) to listen.

Yet another gorgeous photo spread from Kwesi Abbensetts! His work never ceases to amaze me.
